Privacy Policy

Who we are

IDPS Students is the app of the IDPS schools for their students and parents. It is developed and published by NEXAUTICS PRIVATE LIMITED on the schools' behalf; Nexautics does not run the schools. Your school creates your account, owns your records and decides how they are used; the app lets you see them on your phone.

What the app shows and stores

Information your school already keeps about the student: name, admission number, class and section, photo, attendance, marks and report cards, timetable, homework, fee dues and payments, transport and hostel details, school notices and messages with teachers.

A parent or guardian phone number may be held by the school for contact and fee reminders.

What you can add yourself

A profile picture or files for homework that you choose from your photo library. We only read the photos you pick; we never browse your library.

Location

If you allow it, the app uses your location once, while the app is open, to show the nearest IDPS campus on the branch selection screen. The location is used only to answer that request. We do not store it, track you, or use it for anything else. You can refuse and choose your campus from a list.

Notifications

With your permission the app sends alerts from the school (notices, homework, messages from teachers) to your phone through Apple's and Google's notification services. You can choose which alerts you get in the app's Settings, or turn them off in your phone's settings.

Crash reports

When the app crashes it can send a technical error report (what went wrong in the app and the phone model) so the problem can be fixed. Reports never include the student's name, records or messages. You can turn this off in the app under Settings → Privacy.

Payments

School fees are paid through Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure screens and are never seen or stored by the app. We keep only the fee record (amount, date, receipt number, status).

Who sees the information

Only the student, their parents or guardians, and the staff of the student's own school. We do not sell information, show advertising, or track users across other apps and websites.

Service providers that run the app for us (cloud hosting and database in India, Razorpay for payments, Apple and Google for notifications, Sentry for crash reports) handle data only to provide the service.

Children

Accounts are created and managed by the school with the knowledge of parents or guardians. Students cannot sign up on their own, and the app has no advertising or public social features.

How long we keep it

Records are kept while the student is enrolled and for the period the school is required to keep academic and fee records. To correct or remove information, contact your school office; we will act on a school's request to delete a student's data.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and sign-in is required to see any student record. Passwords can be changed in the app at any time.
