The IDPS Students app: fees, attendance, homework, marks, messages and notices.
Signing in
I forgot my password.
Until you change it, your password is your Student ID / admission number. If you changed it and forgot, the school office can reset it.
How do I change my password?
Profile → Settings → Change password. Use at least 8 characters.
The app says it can't connect.
Check your internet and pull down to refresh. Pages you opened before still show their last saved copy while offline.
Fees
How much fee is due?
Open the Fees tab — it shows the total, what is paid and the balance, month by month.
How do I pay online?
Fees → Pay. You can pay with UPI, cards or net banking (secured by Razorpay). The receipt appears under Receipts once the payment is confirmed.
How do I download a fee receipt?
Fees → Receipts. Tap a receipt to save or share the school’s official PDF receipt.
I paid at the school office but the app still shows it due.
Payments made at the office appear after the receipt is saved there. If it is still missing the next day, show your receipt to the office.
Attendance
Where can I see attendance?
The Attendance tab shows the month and the percentage. A day shows once the teacher has marked it.
Studies
Where are marks and exam dates?
Profile → Marks shows results the school has published. Exam dates are in the exam schedule and the Academic calendar.
Where is homework?
The Learning tab lists homework from your teachers with due dates. Open a subject to see its homework and weekly periods.
Where is the class timetable?
Profile → Class timetable shows each day's periods. On holidays it shows the holiday instead.
Messages
How do I message a teacher?
Profile → Messages lists your teachers. Open one and type. Only you, that teacher and the school office can see the chat.
A teacher is missing from Messages.
Teachers appear when the school has them on your class timetable or staff record. Ask the office to add them.
Notices
Where are school notices?
The Notice board tab shows announcements for your class and the whole school. Old notices disappear when their date ends.
I don't get notifications on my phone.
Open Notifications and tap “Turn on”, or allow notifications for IDPS Students in your phone’s settings. You get an alert for school notices, new homework and teacher messages.
Where are holidays and events?
Profile → Academic calendar shows holidays and school events for your class.
Transport & hostel
Where is my bus?
Profile → Transport shows your bus, route and driver. It appears only if you use school transport. If it's wrong, tell the school office.
Where is my hostel room?
Profile → Hostel shows your room. It appears only for hostel students.
Profile
Which library books do I have, and when are they due?
Profile → Library shows the books with you, their due dates and any late fine, plus everything you've returned. Use Find a book to see if a book is on the shelf. Turn Library reminders on in Settings to get a reminder the day before a book is due.
Where is my ID card?
Profile → ID card. Tap the card to see the back. Your details or photo can be corrected by the school office.
